Meet The Certified Personal Trainer
My name is Lucinda Moore, also known as “LucinZin”. I have had a fitness passion for most of my life. I was a student in aqua fitness classes in Missouri back in my early 20’s, and started teaching aqua in 2008 for Duncan Family YMCA in Houston, TX, after aqua physical therapy helped me recover from an injury. I became Aquatic Education Association (AEA) certified in May 2012. I discovered mat Pilates while teaching aqua for Trotter Family YMCA, Houston, TX in 2012 and was soon hooked as it transformed my body and mind. I took over my Pilates mentor’s class in 2016 and became certified in mat Pilates. My love of dance brought me to a Zumba® class at Trotter and I soon became licensed to teach Zumba®, Aqua Zumba® and Zumba Gold®. I decided to open my own fitness business in May 2021, with a focus on making fitness fun! I hope you will let me help you transform your life!
One on One Training
My fitness philosophy is if I make fitness fun and effective, you will achieve your goals long term. My belief is that you must actually enjoy what you are doing, or you won’t continue with it long term. If you stop incorporating fitness into your life, then you have wasted your money and time you have invested with your trainer. I focus on getting to know you, what you love, what motivates you, and what goals you have. We then develop a fitness program together, that will not seem like work because it is FUN! For instance, clients constantly tell me they love my classes because I insert humor and fantastic music into their workouts.
Nutrition, Hormone & Metabolism Coaching
Let me help you with coaching you in your nutrition and diet needs. Whether your goals include losing weight, and keeping it off, or just eating the right foods to maintain your current weight and live a longer, healthier life, I am the coach for you! I am certified through SCW Fitness in Nutrition, Hormone and Metabolism coaching.
For weight loss I use a journal/book written by a Registered Dietitian, who is also a certified personal trainer. Contact me for plans and prices for nutrition and diet coaching (either virtual or in person) or for a combination package of one on one fitness training and diet/nutrition.
