My Vision & Mission
I created LucinZin Fitness as an innovative solution to help people make lifestyle changes for longer, healthier lives.
I used to run up to 25 K long distance races for years. I quit running when I realized I was forcing myself to do something not really fun for me. As an alternative, I found that aqua fitness, dance fitness and Pilates were actually more fun and better suited for the hot Houston summers.
I have many clients who absolutely love to run and they get the “runner’s high” which eludes me. I encourage all of my clients to continue to do what they love, aerobically and/or anaerobically.
As runners age, medical issues arise from years of constant, high impact on pavement, leading to necessary fitness routine changes. An excellent low impact alternative is running in a pool, or participating in an aqua high intensity training class. This type of aqua workout is just as good,
or actually probably better than running on land. In fact, a deep water aqua class actually has NO impact!
My mission is to use my multiple certifications and licenses to create the perfect sustainable, individual, all body workout and eating plan for each client, by making it fun for them! For instance, if my client loves tennis, racquetball, or pickleball, we incorporate those sports into his/her program and build in core strength, weight, and agility training to increase satisfaction, and reduce risk of injury, from those sports. If my client loves to dance, then Zumba® fulfills that love, while he/she achieves a total body workout and burns hundreds of calories!
